Inspiration

This work reflects my experience visiting "The Unique Henan," a drama-themed park designed like a maze, composed of square-shaped spaces. Each space houses a theater showcasing performances from different periods in Henan Province's rich history.

Watching the shows felt like stepping back in time, witnessing the evolution of culture in this historic region, and I even felt like really seeing those historic people in the flesh. The drama park acted as a magical portal, seamlessly connecting our contemporary life with "their" history and evoking a profound sense of nostalgia.

Process

I gathered all the videos and photos I took, and composed as much as I can for the characters in the show.

I briefly modelled the scene in blender for guidance in composition.
